The Bay of Fundy was as interesting as everyone says! Cape Enrage Classic Architecture The tide is so big the fishing boats literally get grounded and have to wait for the tide to fish. It's lowered by a line and pulled into place each time they dock....so explained the kind fisherman below Getting the herring ready for the next tide lunch at the caves St Martins Sea Caves- hard to see but these are huge caves you can walk in at low tide...unfortunately we missed that part but still interesting. On to next campsite. We camped at a campground right next to Hopewell Rocks. Made a great meal with our water view. hot miso butter oysters seafood pho now this is how to camp!!! The bridge off of PEI is 8 miles long! Pretty impressive. Our last Canadian meal, fish cakes and lobster stuffed potato skins. We arrived in Lubec Maine to meet up with dear friends and to stand in the Easternmost spot in the lower 48. It's kind of fun because we stood at the westernmost spot during our fall trip to Washington state. Our campsite in Lubec. What a sweet spot. Enjoying an evening with Chris and John. This is West Quoddy Head Lighthouse. The town of Lubec is the epitome of Maine And oh did I say lobster again.... had a great meal and visit with our friends Chris and John. This morning we woke to flat calm beauty!!!! a sweet little campground Heading home the smoke from the Canadian fires started to drift our way. It always amazes me how far the smoke can travel.
